Hyperlink vlookup and some copy paste values. Please help.

    Hello first of all.

I need help cause i am excel newbie and need to get this thing done till i learn how to use
excel formulas properly and decently. I need this help to save me some time at work cause i need to retype many things that
are kind of same in 2 different excel documents.
Please be a little patient and look the example with the attachments and read what i've typed below:

I am putting information in Book1 manualy.
Book2 is not identical to book1 and i must have 2 books at work, cause book1 is for reception and book2 is for delivery with additional information of book1....so they are not identical.
What i need is just to type the serial as it is in the format in the book1. (I.E. 512-25) and all other data to be entered automatically in other fields exactly in the order i will explain below, with the exact same values and same numbers as it is in book1. All numbers are case sensitive so i must not do changes. Serials arent 0512-25 but 512-25.

When i type in collumn D a serial number like 512-15, the number 512-15 to be found in Book 1 and the numbers and parameters from the row to be coppied
in Book2 in the same row but only by following order:

The date typed in column "J" in Book1 to be copied in Column "A" of book2

The numbers in columns "E, F, G" of Book2 to be equal to numbers in columns "B, C, D" of the row where serial number 512-15 is written.

By the same order columns "I" and "J" of Book2 to be equal to columns "F" and "J" of Book2

Column "B" in Book2 to be the same text typed in column "M" in Book1

Column "C" in Book2 to be the same number or text as column "K" in Book1.

And if possible the number in Column "L" of Book2 to be generated like this:
If first number of the serial 512-15 is 5.....the number to be 5
but if number of the serial is 1112-14, the number in the column "L" to be 11.
If that's not possible at all it's not big problem, i can do that manually.

Please tell me how to create the hyperlink and do this formula or other commands or parameters vlookup or anything else that is needed.
I am losing too much time at work to retype everything and that's why i need to solve this issue so that it will not take too much time.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.

Re: Hyperlink vlookup and some copy paste values VBA help.

It can be helpful but only for me.
3 more colleagues are working on 2 sheets and they are old people that will not know how to use the data validation that is described in the link and it will be very hard to learn them.
That's why i ask you to help me as i described so that can be easier for them too.
Many thanks from me and my colleagues if you can help me cause it takes too much time for us to retype many things that we typed in book1 into book2 that are the same.
That's why i need help. If anyone can type some command or formula or macro for 1 column and row it will be enough cause i will copy it and replace the names of the columns with the needed ones in book2 myself.
    Please help if possible.
