Transferring variable data from worksheet to form

    Hello again

I have all but completed my project now and thanks to the couple of people who have answered my question.

I do however have a couple more issues to iron out. I will seek some answers to the first one here and then address the second next week.

The first thing I would like some help with is coding that would allow me to transfer data from my ‘Sheet 1’ to a form called ‘Review’.

The thing is that I only want data from the cells related to Failed QC transferred and this changes from date to date (is never consistent). I will use the forms I have provided to give an example:

If a search is done for results from 02/03/12 using the ‘Review’ button on ‘Experimental’, I would like the form ‘Review’ to be populated as follows from ‘Sheet 1’ Cell F1 to Label1, F2 to Label2, G2 to label3, H1 to Label6, H2 to Label7, I2 to Label8 and the Searched Date (A2) to Label5.

    Similarly, if the search was from 03/03/12 then Cell B1 to Label1, B3 to Label2, C3 to label3, F1 to Label6, F3 to Label7, G3 to Label8 and the Searched Date (A3) to Label5.

Remembering that a search for any future dates will be different again.

I hope this makes some sense to you. I appreciate your help.

    Hi

What happens if you have 3 or more failures?

On the form I am creating there is room for several more entries. Once I get some idea of the coding on these test forms I will apply and adapt this to my working copy. At present just work with the failures on the attached worksheet.

    HI

Ok see if this helps. It is a bit of a fiddle given the fixed circumstances, but hopefully it should get you going.
