    Dynamic Drop Down List?

Here is what I'm needing to accomplish:

    1. In sheet "Colors" I have a list of colors in column A.

2, In sheet "Teams" I want to assign a unique color in column B to each team listed in column A.

    3. I want to create a drop down list in each cell of column B to select a color from the list of colors.

    4. Then once a particular color is selected in a cell, it should not show as a choice to pick from iwhen you move to the next cells.

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

    Hello JoeJaycee,

Without using Name Manager, you need to copy the list of Colors to the Sheet for "Teams".

See WorkBook attached. You may also hide the two columns containing the actual colors.

Also see the "Please consider:" notes at the bottom of this Post

    Thank you.

Glad to see you came right with my Formula and use it via the Name Manager. Good going!

    Re: Dynamic Drop Down List?

See the post/file I've given in your other thread here:
    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...10#post2736010

This is a little more dynamic and eliminates the spaces in your drop down lists.

You should mark this thread as resolved...
