Attached herewith the Excel file with self explanatory, i want to add 2012 rows after 2011 group total and then subtotal for 2012 and grand total will add the 2012 total also.

Attached herewith the Excel file with self explanatory, i want to add 2012 rows after 2011 group total and then subtotal for 2012 and grand total will add the 2012 total also.
Is this something that has to reoccur many times? Or just once?
If it is a one time thing, then follow these steps;
1. Select A17:F17.
2. Drag it down to A25:F25.
3. Select A20:F25.
4. Drag it up to A17:F22.
5. Copy A16:F16.
6. Paste it at A21:F21.
7. Modify rows 21 & 22 for proper format, text and formulas.

In your actual file, is the 2012 table on the same worksheet? Should we assume there will be many more than 4 rows of data?

i have more than 4 rows in year arount 100 rows in each year i have given some rows for understanding, can you give me the sample file with explain.
I tried the above but it not dragging can you attach the file with picture for understanding clearlry.

In your actual file, is the 2012 table on the same worksheet as the Summary Data?

It is on the other worksheet sheet2 but i want to updata on the sheet1 and there are many more rows in each year i given only few for sample purpose only.

This code assumes 2012 Data is in Sheet2 (with no headers). Let me know of issues.

It is working but it is not showing as group for 2012 like +/- button to expand or group.
I need with formula not with macro as macros are disabled in my systme by the administrator. Please help
