"Move and Size with Cell" sometimes doesn't work with VBA created Buttons

Hi - I have a workbook where I create a number of Forms Buttons on a worksheet using VBA. I've set them to "Move and size with cells" at creation time. Most of the time it works just fine; if I resize the column next to the buttons, the buttons will usually move over so that they do not overlap with the resized column. Every once in a while, however, it doesn't work and the buttons will resize but the left edge will not move so I end up with the buttons partially covering the resized column. I'm having a hard time pinpointing a single reproducible sequence of steps that will always produce this behavior, but if I just keep re-running my application (which deletes and recreates the buttons each time), eventually the "move and size with cells" behavior will stop working.

I'm using Excel 2010 on Windows XP. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Any suggestions as to what could be going on?

    Thanks,
    Dave

P.S. I posted this same question on Mr. Excel boards a couple days ago, but got no responses so I though I'd try it out here. Hope it's not bad etiquette to post to multiple sites...

I've seen this before. I do not have a solution so I don't even line up buttons with cell borders anymore.
