    Pivot table VBA

    Hi,

I’m completely new to VBA, But I was just wondering if this was possible.

I need to have a workbook once it has had something pasted into the spread sheet it runs a pivot, and selects certain filters for that table.

I would give an example but I just want to know if this is possible.

    Thanks

Yeah, that is possible. If you use a named range and don't actually delete rows when clearing data you can set it up as a template, paste the data in and just refresh the table. assuming you have the same fields each time that is.

Edit - tip on dynamic data source here http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot01.html
