VBA E-Mail validation and flagger

My first post! I'm a longtime, non-member lurker, and I've finally joined!

Leith posted a while back this code for flagging bad e-mails. (I've slightly modified it.) My problem is that I'm a casual user, and despite my years, I'm still a newb on the inside. I can't wrap my brain around that expression. Basically, I consider an e-mail like [email protected] to be a valid e-mail and this code flags it as bad. Even [email protected] is a valid e-mail for a Canadian server, no? How could it be adjusted to allow these smaller types of e-mails?
