Adding part of a filename to a specific cell.

    Hi,

On the back of a question I raised earlier today (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...-filename.html), I was wondering how to capture part of the filename (everything between the first space and the . (dot) before the file extention) captured from the code below and input it to a specific cell.

I've been playing with this for a while but just seem to break things!

ok managed to get a little further with

    Range("D31").Value = wbkTemp.FullName

Just need to figure out how to hide/get rid of the full path and the crap before the first space in the file name but we're a step closer.

=mid(D31,48,14) has solved that for me so far, just hope they don't change the formatting/wording or this will get blow own of the water.
