I was wondering if it is possible to say write a piece of code using java that creates a macro in excel?
If so can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank You for your time.

Hi,
I honestly have no idea, but it sounds possible. May I suggest you change your the title of your thread to reflect this. Maybe something like Java and Excel (as per forum rules). That way people who are interested might be able to spot this thread among the many others that are active.
Good luck.

Following up on my previous post, I just did a Google search with the key words Java Excel and the top results seem very promising.
Ok changed the title.
Read though that link there some good stuff but its talking about going though c++ or other programs to do it and it seems mainly just to read a excel file with java. I'm just interested to know if there's a way to go straight from java and open a excel write the macro then save it.
I done a quick Google on it as well and its the same saying use this or this or tells you to use jxexcel.api which is just a java library.
I'm not even sure if its possible to go ahead with this the way i want to.
I guess ill Google it once i get some free time hope i can find something if i don't hear anything back from hear before hand.
Thanks for reply so quick its always appreciated.
