Need a macro to pull info from ini files.

Hi,

Please see the attached file. I have multiple sheets like this, each has a column A with a list of part numbers. I'd like a macro to inspect each corresponding part number's ini file located in C:\inspections and place line 7's text in column B (Product=AUTOMIDDLE). Here is an example ini:

I'm not too familiar with writing macros so I need some help, I appreciate your time.

I don't know you, but I can only go on what I see. You have joined the forum, you have listed your name as 112233 and your location as asdfasd, and you want to know how to do something that is relatively complex. So my question is why are you embarking on a challenging task such as this if you don't have an understanding of how to do it, and can't even put in the effort to sign up to the help forum properly?

Maybe a bit of context and effort from you would be motivating for someone to help you. JMO.

I agree with Mallycat. A little online etiquette can go a long way. Your file that you have provided has nothing of the sort in your post, just numbers like 905-3511. In my corner of the world that isn't asdfasd, those numbers look like phone numbers, which have nothing to do with

except for your Pnum, which is definitely an mnemonic for phone number. This type of posting can make the volunteers of this site and other sites like this apprehensive about trying to help.
