Question about passing array to subroutine......

Hi,

I get very different results if i pass an array using this (see below)

and if i use this ..... add"()" after array name.........i get very different results

Any ideas why?

FYI: not asking anyone to figure out my code........just explain how the parenthesis in the array statment of the subroutine changes things.
