I have migrated an Excel 2003 workbook to Excel 2010.
In the workbook, I have many Form Control buttons with macros assigned. When opening in Excel 2010, many of these buttons now have a shadow (like a heavy drop shadow) to the right and below them that I can't get rid of. (Some buttons came over from Excel 2003 just fine, but many have these shadows.) Anyone encountered/seen this problem and found a solution?
And yes, I've tried selecting Control button and under Drawing tools (appears above Format tab when button selected), tried "Shape outline" and "Shape effects" etc, none of which have an effect on the unwanted shadow. And I've also tried the Developer tab and in Design mode, attempted to find something under "Properties" which I could change to eliminate this shadow, but again, no luck.
I'm suspecting a Microsoft bug, but wanted to query the forum in case I'm wrong and someone has encountered/tackled this issue.
Also, if it is a Microsoft error, what is the best way to notify them for a correction. (They seem to put up a pretty tall fortress.) My thanks in advance.
