convert excel sheet to pdf using macro and send that pdf via email using outlook

i am new to excel coding...

my doubt is

1) how to convert excel sheet to pdf using macro
2) if User selects macro within “sheet1” to send internal PDF copy via email using Outlook, and saves PDF to default directory

If you whish to save part of a worksheet as a pdf file you could try something like this:

where "C\Temp\" is the folder to where the pdf file will be saved and Range("A1:I48") is the part of the active worksheet that will be saved.

To save all of a sheet make it first active and start with the command

You also need to have "2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF" installed.

I have a similar circumstance.

I would like to save an inactive worksheet to a .pdf in a folder on my computer.

How would I do this? I am new to macros and not proficient at macro code/VB jargon. Sorry...

I am also trying the same thing. This code doesn't work...it says that "file did not save". What did I miss.

An old thread but perhaps a bit more information is needed. A macro like this will save a specified range of the active worksheet (range A1:J13) with the name of "Tester.pdf" to the folder "C:\Temp\"

This will copy the specified range, add a workbook and copy the specified range to this book and save the added workbook as "Book2.pdf" to folder "C:\Temp\".

Remember you can only save the active sheet or parts of it as a pdf file. If you wish to save the whole workbook containing 2 or more sheets you need to buy/find 3de party converters.
