macro for automated download file from http login required

    1. I want to create an automated program that can download multiple files from specific URL that requires login session to download
    2. File to download will be in .CSV or .XLS
    3. I want to edit a few things like tab name or file name and save it to .XLS to a specific location on my drive
    4. For some I want to copy a specific row and paste it to another existing file

    any idea?

I've tried this so far and i get it to login and start file download but I have to go through IE popup (open save cancel) and do all other stuffs myself

I've tried using other people posted code however the file requires login. So it won't work

    Hello hellowit,

    Welcome to the Forum!

To help you with this I need to the HTML source of the login page. You can either post the URL or post the source of the web page as a text file. If it exceeds the limit for uploading a text file then zip the text file and post it.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

i did get pass login. my idea is that i need to use the same IE window that i logged in to download the file. So i try navigate to the file URL and it popups download window that ask whether to save open or cancel. If there are a code to auto save when popup i think it will do
