Question Conditionally format dates for "This week" AND "This month"?

    Hi all,

    Got myself a problem,

I've set up a spreadsheet to alert me of when stock is being delivered. The table is set up, and I decided to conditionally format dates so that they flash certain colours to alert me of incoming stock.

Now, I set a rule to flash yellow when the date is "This Week", however, I also want a rule to flash up Orange when its "This Month", with the effect that I have alerts for incoming stock for this month, but I can also prioritise (via colour) stock that is coming within "This week".

Obviously after I set the rules up the "This month" rule overrides the "This Week" rule because this week is within this month. Is there a way I can have both, without one overriding the other?

    Cheers,

Setup the This Month rule first, so that the This Week rule overrides it.

    Thanks Bob.
Didn't know the order in which you implement rules had any impact on their processes. Thumbs up!
