populating spreadsheet from userform

really hope someone can help me with this...

For one of my assignments, i have been asked to create a payroll system.
I have created a userform, and in that i have a combo box with a selection of names in, which i brought in from names on my spreadsheet.

the whole things works fine but i am just stuck on one last thing, and that is storing the "net pay" textbox value in the cell to the right of the cell holding the name that was selected from the combo box...

I am at my wits end with this i've tried all sorts and being such a beginner with all this, finding it ridiculously difficult

Probably you still have your Texbox and chombo box names from 1 to k so you can save them all as:

where you need to define rng as begging of the range in desired sheet.

Here's a very quick example that assumes the names are listed in Column A & the net pay is to go in the adjacent cell. It uses the ComboBox's ListIndex property to get the row number

This is awesome just what i need. I have applied it to my own project and when i run it, the net pay value is against the name below the one selected, i tried to change the number in the code from 1 to 0, but i got an error...


Any ideas?
