Importing Multiple Text Files into Excel using Macro

Ok so i have like 300 files that i need to import into excel, the image attached is how i am looking for the files to look like but i cannot seem to find any macros that will post the details in seperate columns as they arrive in.Also the tricky part is the first column is actually the name of the file so i dont know how to pull that info across

    Re: Excel Macro

Please change your Original Post Title to be clear, concise, and descriptive of what the issue at hand is(this is a forum rule).

By '300 files', do you mean excel workbooks? If so, are they central to a single folder or are they all over the place?

I would strongly encourage you to read up on Ron de Bruin's work on this subject.

If you are satisfied with my solution click the small star icon on the left. Thanks
    1. Make a copy of your workbook and run the following code on your copy (just in case)
    2. With excel open, press ALT+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor (VBE). From the "Insert" menu, select "Module".
    3. Paste the code from above into the empty white space. Close the VBE.
    4. From the developer tab, choose "Macros", select the Sub Name, and click "Run".

    Re: Excel Macro

All the files are .del file extension and they are all located in the same folder. I have come across many macros that will import the files but very difficult to find one that will arrange the information in a seperate cell like the image that i posted
