Unhappy Parse data and combine values for duplicate entries for the same date

Here is where i need some severe help and I've been studying the past two days trying to figure this out. For the VBA version, the task is to generate output shown in the “Desired_Output” worksheet using data in the “Raw” worksheet. I figured I'd compileing the results that I wanted, would be the best way to explain. Attached is the workbook with several work sheets, one with the raw data, one for the output of our vba code and one for the desired output how i want it to generate the results. Now I would like this to be able to be done in a way that makes the code as flexible as possible. Like if I were using different dates or different "stocks" if possible. If anyone can help me seriously you would make me the happiest camper ever. I dont know how to go about this i have several idea's but none that are panning out.

    rlaserra,

    Welcome to the Excel Forum.

    See if this is acceptable.

Detach/open workbook CreateSharesSummary - wR colAB ADVFU wO colAB SUBTOTAL - rlaserra - EF832380 - SDG15.xls and run the CreateSharesSummary macro.
    Have a great day,

Wow, that was truely amazing. Do you think you could help me breakdown the formula a little more to understand this. I am not just trying to get it done, which believe me I am thankful but I am looking for a better understanding. Or if you have any sites that I can study to learn more, Please let me know but thank you very much this should work on any data in this format correct?

    rlaserra,

    Wow, that was truely amazing.
Thanks for the feedback. You are very welcome. Glad I could help.

The worksheet Output, cell C2's actual formula is:
    =SUMPRODUCT(--(Raw!$A$1:$A$236=A2),--(Raw!$B$1:$B$236=B2),Raw!$C$1:$C$236)

It looks for cell A2's value, 4/2/2012, in range Raw!$A$1:$A$236, and cells B2's value, HPQ US, in range Raw!$B$1:$B$236, and sums the values in range Raw!$C$1:$C$236.

To better understand the SUMPRODUCT formula, check Excel Help.
