Best Method for Child Products - Inventory

Thanks in advance for the help.

I am doing a inventory update and need some help for 2 remaining columns in excel.
    1. Child Products (Sku's)
    2. Media Gallery

"Child Products" column needs to be added to parent row only. The format ( Child Sku,Child Sku,Child Sku,....) if the child product belongs to the parent.
Since each product has a different amount of children i am not sure how to run this function.

*Media Gallery* column is a little bit trickier.
This also goes under the column of the parent product.
If the size is any of the following - Med, 7, 7.5, 2XL, NoSize
Then in the parent column for that child, it needs to put the sku followed by -A,-B,-C. It gets a image name of "Sku-A.jpg,Sku-B.jpg,Sku-C,jpg" Each sku that matches will have Images A,B, and C.

For example in the phote below is how it should look ( i manually entered the values )
Column F - Size of the product
    Column G - SKU ( 407.... = child ID, 603... = parent ID )
    Column H - Parent ID
    Column P - Type of product - Simple = Child / Configurable = Parent
Column AF - The Child Skus ( in parent Column )
Column AG - Images based on Size - ( in parent column only )

Thanks again for looking and any help

What is the Parent product/Row that you keep referring to? I've looked at both your picture and workbook and I am confused by that phrasing. Also, the cells in AF and AG columns are for what? You want your sku, Parent ID (whatever that is),type of product, child sku, and image all in one cell? The references you have are showing formulas

Can you clarify a little better?

Column P defines the parent from child products
the value "simple" is a child product
The value "configurable" is the parent for the products above.

Column AF is the column that need to be generated. I did that formula you see to show what the value is suppose to look like. Child sku's of the parent

AG is where the image name needs to be defined like the formula I added
3 image names per sku that match the size.

    Hi stitchez,

We do a lot of problems for people and most of the time it is to undo cells like your AF Column. Excel works best if a single peice of information is in a single cell. When you append them together and separate them with a comma, it goes against the way Excel was meant to work. I believe you need to look at AutoFilter or Pivot Tables to get to what you want. I think you are asking a question that makes your problem harder instead of easier.

    How would filtering help?

I think you should look at some of the Office Excel Templates that deal with inventory. They might give you ideas on how to do your problems easier.
