A formula/procedure to list the highest values

    Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could help me with a formula or macro. In my workbook the formula in column B counts how many times the same entry appears in column A (formula not included in the workbook). I need a procedure that will go through column B, take the highest value and insert it in column C beside each entry it relates to. (as in columns G-I, where 5 is the highest value and it is inserted beside each entry that has Black in it, three for White and so on).

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Regards,
    shinobi

    Try this

In Cell B2 and copied down

    =COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)

In Cell C2 and copied down

    =COUNTIF($A$2:$A$21,A2)

By doing this you can eliminate G:I
