be easier if you posted a workbook instead of pictures but I reckon something like this oughta do it

I tried the previous macro but I'm having problems as it doesn't bold all the labels correctly.
My collegue said that the problem starts with 3rd label. It bolds first 3 labels correctly and then it goes back and messes up first 2 labels.

it may be an issue with the special characters in the text. I'll have to think about that and get back to you

I don't think that it's the problem with special characters cause changing labels to standart english symbols didn't help.
The code works fine in xl2003.
I think this is a bug in charting Object model. It may work for a data label or 2 but then things stop working probably.
and it worked in my initial tests in 2011.
