Auto open excel for every 30minutes

Hi friends,
I have excel file in my desktop and doing some report generation with that. i need to open that excel file for every 30minutes. How can i do? please help me?

You need to create a batch file and set up an auto open in the task manager Or have an excel workbook running in the background (Application.visible = False) that triggers the report generation every 30 min. Of course once you restart your computer, you will need to manually open the 'invisible' workbook again.
