Create pdf file name based on value of certain cells

Hello:

I have excel sheet which generates a paid receipt.
I like to store this receipt as a pdf file.
The name of the pdf file would need be created by the values in certain cell.
(Remember that values in cell are populated from other part of the worksheet)

I8_E10_E15

Example :
Value in I8 = 14-May-12
Value in E10 = John Doe
Value in E15 = [email protected]

PDF file name need to be :

14-May-12_John [email protected]

Can you please help with this by either having a VB Macro or some other alternatives

adapt this code to refelect your preferred cell references Range R1 and Range N1 are two used in this method

I see in excel 2007 anyway that you can save in pdf format as an option in SaveAs

Might be worth recording the macro and see what it gives you as a save option

this will give you the pdf file as an option, you'll have to play around with it as I cant test it

Hi:

Help me further.
This excel file is named "Receipt_For_Members"
It has 5 sheets and 1 f them is called "Receipt"

Hi:

I have attached excel sheet for referance.
To get the receipt, i go to Receipt sheet and enter the Receipt # in cell I8 (Receipt # is chosen from "Donation" sheet.
Once Receipt# is entered in cell I8, the other information is populated and now i need this to be printed as Receipt as pdf file.
So basically, i would have 1 pdf file for each donation receipt.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
