Formula to convert MPH into min per mile?

Hi,

I have a formula (provided by this Forum - Thank You) that converts KPH into min per kilometer:

(60/A4)/1440


But I also need a formula that will convert MPH into min per mile. I thought the same formula would work - but it doesn't.


Appreciate any help.

Assuming A4 is your MPH, i think this will do =60/A4

I might just be having a blonde moment, but I would have thought it would work regardless of what the unit of speed is.

My apologies - I guess I was having the blonde moment - it works fine - I had formatted the cell I was trying to put the result in and kept getting a wrong value - D'oh!!

Phew! You had me scared for a moment there... Thought I was going to have to go back and re-study the laws of space and time in case I missed something fundamental that means units of distance affect velocity....
