preventing simple zoom macro from running step by step

    Hi All,

Can anybody please help. I have attached a simple prototype which I'm using to figure out how to be able to click on a button and have the screen zoomed to a quadrant. Then I would like to be able to click it again and have it zoom back to full screen.

I know that this is simpler with separate buttons but I would like to figure is out like this so that I could also have similar macros select charts and have them zoom in and select them again and have the screen zoom back out.

I have this functionality working in the attached file but it does it step by step. I have tried application.screenupdating but havent managed to get it to work properly. Can anybody please specify how I can have these zoom macros run without being jerky?

Not sure quite where you're going with this. Are you trying to use Chip Pearson's routine?

    Maybe:

    Hi TMS,

Thanks very much, that is helpful. Its definitely not jerky anymore but it seems to zoom in a bit more than I expected. Do you have any idea why this may be or how to fix it?

    Regards,

No, not really. I was just trying to generalise your code and, potentially, just have the bulk of the code once and pass it parameters from the routines attached to the buttons ... And make it less jerky. That's probably achieved by not selecting cell B100.
