Returning name of selected series

Honestly, I know there are free downloads to do this but my company does not allow free downloads. I have found code that does similarly but, I'm trying to write code that will add custom lables from a worksheet range to the currently selected data series. Is there somthing like ActiveSeriesCollection that will allow me to select a chart, select a series, then execute the label add? I know I can change the series number in the code but I really don't want to have to do this every time, and I do this all the time; with XY Chart Labeler 97 add-in until I got 'upgraded' to 2007. Now this no longer works and the company has tightened the screws on add-ins. Heere is what I have;

This is excellant, works like a charm. Simply 'selection'; wow! I have researched forums all over the map and not seen this done, and the MicroSoft Command Reference Library is about useless to me. Thanks for the quick solution, should have started here.
