lock code from being viewed by other users

Well, I would like to lock/Protection my code from being seen by other users as it contains password.
This is what I’m doing
I right click on Sheet1->viewCode (opens Microsoft visual Basic)
I right click on Sheet1(Sheet1)--> VBA project properties,--Protection Tab and enter passwords.
Next time when I access it DOES NOT ask for password. Am I in right direction?

Save, close, and reopen the workbook.

You also need to check the box for "Lock project for viewing"
