Hello,
I've been tasked at work to create a spreadsheet that can copy and covert the data from one spreadsheet cell to my new spreadsheet into another cell with the number '1' in it.
Ill try and explain some more, we have these reports that have various questions on different machines, these questions have 3 answers... YES NO N/A
Now if the NO has been highlighted in red, we're going to class that as a "1" in this new spreadsheet. The set-up will be like this...
Along the top you will have the question, and on the left, you will have the machine name and machine number. Then what I want is, along each question that had a NO highlighted in red on the first spreadsheet (These YES, NO and N/A's are always in the same cell), it will create a 1 in the new spreadsheet under the correct question along the top.
Now once I'm done with the first spreadsheet, I need to get the next one and do the same. Just to explain again, this first spreadsheet is a machine report, so once its done with, I need to do it again on another machine report onto the new spreadsheet. Once that's done, ill be able to add up how many NO's I have and what exact question I need to sort out. Idea is, to change these NO's into yes's!
If this can't be done, I'll continue to go insane opening each machine report, checking each red no, and then filling in the 1's on the new spreadsheet. Unless you guys have a quicker way of doing it!?
Thank you!
