Conditional Date Formatting with a Custom Cell Format

    Howdy All,
I have a date cloumn that is of a custom cell format of 'mm/yyyy', I would like to set up a conditional format rule such that if the month is between this month and 2 months ago it is green, if the month is 3 months ago it is yellow, and 4 or more months is red. I can get it to sort of work using the "date" is "last month" canned rule but can't figure out how to do the 60/90/120 day splits. Just to throw another monkey wrench in to things there are blank and header cells in the column that I would like to not format. Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Excel 2010

    Hi Kevin,

    Welcome to the forum.

Do you want to consider Month, 2 month, 3 month OR,
60/90/120 days as both are different scenarios?

I would prefer to do the calculation by month 2/3/4 but if 60/90/120 is the way it has to be done that will work also.

    Thank You

    DILIPandey,
Thanks for working with me on this one, but a straight copy/paste of your formatting on my worksheet does not seem to be working. I have extracted the particular column and attached it to this post. What am I doing wrong?
