how to lock/protect automaticaly columns with dates less then curent date

Hi All, can someone help me with a code ?? I create a excel file and I want to lock automaticaly all the columns with date pasted. I put dates on row 1 (starting B1 to AN1). On cell A1 is current day. All columns with dates less then current date should be lock/protect automaticaly. thanks in advance. please check below my excel :

Worksheet_change event is used.
When the date in A1 cell is changed cells in columns upto Date less than the date in A1 cell are locked.

thanks, but is not working. I put in A1 cell date of today and not all cells in columns less than the date in A1 are locked.
