Delete contents of blank cells

I have a strange request for a macro.

I need something that will find all blank cells in a range, select the cell and press the delete key for all blank cells in the range.

The reason: I am pulling data using an array formula and applying conditional formatting that fills the cell red, for some reason half the blank cells dont apply the formatting, but when I go to the main data and press delete on the cell it reapplies the formatting on the array correctly. The cells are definitely blank, i have made sure there are no spaces etc.
