Display filter criteria for 3 or more criteria per column

I've set a filter on one of my columns with several criteria in it, (around five). I'm using excel 2010, so the filter can be set to all but one of the criteria, i.e 4. I'm aware of the VBA code on http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/usertips/tip044.htm to show the filter criteria for up to 2 criteria per column, but is there a way to expand this for multiple criteria per filter?
