macro plots every column of data, then takes out all the data I don't need

    Hi,

I have a macro used to plot data for the same column in each of my worksheets. The macro works, but it takes a minute or two to plot a single graph which I thought was strange. Going through line by line, I found that the macro actually plots all my columns of data in the same line graph, then seems to remove all the series i don't want before giving me the chart I want. Does anyone know how I can stop it from doing this redundancy?

    Here's my code:

I'm 98% sure the problem is here:

    Hi fredlo,

Thanks for the post - I like the code that deletes the existing charts. Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem though.

It works for me I get the graph in less than two seconds. Can you attach a copy of your excel workbook. Create one with dummy information on it.
