Want data entered into dialog box before file will open

Trying to create macro to run when master is opened in which they MUST enter the job name before anything can occur, and after job name is entered, workbook is automatically saved with the job name, the date and the time in a predetermined folder Plus job name added to D8 of a worksheet. Note – have a macro that saves workbook with job name + date + time in specified folder automatically after they print their weekly summary so I can figure out some of macro – just not the starting portion.
    Thanks!!

    Hi,

See if the attached file helps with your question. I have a macro run when a workbook is opened. If you don't type the correct password/Job Name of "Test" it will close.

    HI,

When you click on the attached files link above, you will need to OPEN the workbook. Then you will need to click on the Excel warning to ENABLE EDITING which will let the macro run. When the message box comes up you will need to type "Test" and press enter. This will then pass the the code and you will then be able to click on Visual Basic and see the code behind Sheet1.
