I have an excel 2003 sheet where I have a link that I want hidden and for people to not be able to view on their computer. It has sensitive salary data in it. I have hidden the file on the computer; this file is called "Data". The manager of my restaurant uses a file called "Report" that goes and grabs info from the "data" file and then enters his daily numbers into it. I have auto updates set and have the file protected, but I notice if the manager goes to the "edit links" section they can "Open Source" and get right to the Hidden "Data" file.

I tried putting a password on the "Data" file but then when they open the "Reports" file it asks them for a password.

Basically I want to know if there is a way to lock the "Open Source" feature in edit links or another option. Thank You.
