From the attached spreadsheet, I want to display the data in the following columns: Area, Year, Data AS DataType, Month. I saw a 2008 post from Andy Pope solving a similar problem. But, I couldn't figure out how to modify the code to my situation.

What pivot table are you trying to extract data from?
Maybe you can added a link to the solution of Andy Pope, so we can see what you mean.
I don't see the wanted result in your sheet.
Unpivot => this means you [U]don't[U] want to use pivot table.
Notice my main language is not English.

It IS only data. I suspect it was produced by a pivot before it is distributed in this format. But what you see is what I get. I'm looking for a way to transform this into the columns mentioned above. Thanks.

The columns you asked for are the columns I'm seeing... ... unless you mean delete the CODE column.
Perhaps post a sample format with a row or two of information in the format that you'd like to see it in?
