Count how much words are until today

I have in row 2 dates, then i have in row 3 words. And now I want to Count how much that words and how much that words are until today.
Please help me with formula.

So in sheet2 you can see counting but i don't know how to count until today.

You're welcome very much. Both formulas produce the same result so there must have been an error in copying the first one.
