The front-end applicaiton is Access 2010 with a SQL Server 2008 back-end distributed nationally via Citrix.

All reports are created in Excel 2010 via VBA from the Access application. The Excel reports are programmed to be created and saved on a networked drive in the user's report folder.

There would be advantages to creating and saving VBA modules in the reports. Now, this will introduce all the macro warning issues.
There is a risk that users will turn off the macro warning - and then obtain a Excel workbook from outside the company with macro's that could compromise the system.

Is there a Verisign or other certificate that can be used for Excel workbooks that allow macros to run, but won't run macro's for those with out a certificate?

Any suggestions, web links, or experince would be greatly appreciated.
