Copy keyword from one sheet, find that keyword in cells in column D and paste it under rel

    Hi All,

I am new with Excel macro. I am trying to create a macro which picks a string from one sheet, finds that string in content in another sheet and pastes the string under appropriate column header next to the cell where the string was located.

The workbook has to worksheets. Worksheet(Data) and Worksheet(Keyword). Worksheet(Keyword) all the strings and keywords under three headers, Book name, Publisher name and author name. I have created a very basic macro which takes care of this problem. However, it takes a lot of time. I want help to create something that consumes minimal time to complete the task.

Let me explain the data in detail. Worksheet(Data), column D contains content. Column H, Column I and Column J are titled Book name, Author name and publisher name. Worksheet(Keyword), Column A is Book name, Column B is Author name and Column C is publisher name. Total count of keywords and string is about 450 units. I want a macro to pick a keyword one after another, go to Sheet(Data), find the cell that contains the keyword and pastes that keyword under appropriate column header.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Please find attached a sample data and a macro.

    Warm Regards,
    Vishesh

You need to look at your key words:
For example your key work is "Rupa & Co." it will not find references to "Rupa" without the "& Co.".
Key word "Ken Follett" would not match "Follett's new book", etc.

Thanks and I totally agree. As mentioned in my question, it is a sample and I am trying to take care of the keyword part just as you suggested.
