how to copy a range of cells, paste them and then find next empty cell

what code would i use to copy a range of cells in sheet1 in columns a,b,c,d where the amount of rows could differ between days that then pastes the cells in sheet 2 in columns abcd. however when i repeat this function again with new data it will only paste the data in sheet 2 under the old data in the next empty cell.
