    Worksheet_Change activation problems...

    Hello all,

Im stuck on a Worksheet_Change issue... Im trying to run a macro when a cell changes... pretty straight forward. BUT, the cell is a formula =Sum($A$1+$A$2) therefore the cell is not changing ny manual intervention but from another cell.

This is causing me headaches and any help would be greatly received!

    James

Try referring to the 'other' cell in the Sheet Change macro, i.e. the one to which which your formula is dependent.

That doesn't work either. The data is changing from an external source. The worksheet_change doesn't seem to pick up the change this way.

So if the data is a Data Connection are you referring to a cell in the range that gets refreshed?

Can I suggest you upload the workbook so we can see the problem in context.
