Runt time error when creating pivot table

When executing the code below I am receiving a Run-time error 5: Invalid procedure call or argument.

It worked correctly when the parts that are now commented out were active.
It is the first piece of code in the macro.

The code is supposed to create a new sheet, name if FUTA MAX regardless of how many sheets are in the workbook, create a pivot table on FUTA MAX sheet using a named RANGE, and name the pivot table FUTA_MAX_PT.
