Automatically move data from one cell to another

Hello,

I have on my worksheet i have two columns Named "Last Session" (L) and "Next Session" (M) both columns contain dates. what i am trying to do is , if the date in column M = today's date then have it automatically move to column L. everything i have tried has not worked and am out of ideas.

any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for replying to my thread. it works if i enter today's date into column M but if the date was entered before today then it don't move. Also i cant see how you did it. i can see =today() but nothing else.

You stated " if the date in column M = today's date then have it automatically move to column L. " Do you want everything prior too todays date moved as well? BTW I used a worksheet event code on Sheet1, if you want too explore.

sorry i should have explained better. yes any prior dates to be moved. the dates that need moving will already have been entered before todays date.

So you want dates prior too Today moved? Not including Today? Or including Today?

didn't work when i change the date on my pc nothing happens with the date and when i click on the cell i get this error message

It worked on mine when I tested it, did you modify the file. That's the first time I've encountered that Error Message. See below for detailed information.

no i didn't modify the file. i tried to add it to mine the got the popup.

Works for me when I tested it on your sample. Did you place the code in the Sheet Event Code for Sponsor data? Did you save you file as .xlsm? I can't duplicate your errors.
