Hello,

I've had trouble coming up with or finding a solution to my issue. I am currently using an RTD link to get incoming market data. When I distruct the supplying data source, excel recognizes that the RTD link is down (after 5 seconds or so) and prompts the user to restart the rtd link server or not to. Since I have manually shut down the external data source I do not want to try reconnecting in excel. Then, the cells, in which the incoming data was coming into show up as N/A.

I'm hoping to have excel figure out if the RTD connection has been disrupted and manually put in an N/A or a false into a cell so that I can stop processes that depend on the values in excel. (without having to click anything or be nearby that excel spreadsheet).

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jake
