    Compare the string between two worksheets and give the result in worksheet 3

    Hello Everybody
    I want to search or compare string between two worksheets and when the comparison is found then it gives the sum of the corresponding column of the compared string in the worksheet 3. The example is attached with this post. Thanks a lot.

    Thanks a lot for your reply. Actually i am newbie in vba can you also tell me that after searching the compared strings, if strings have more than one ids then it gives the sum of compared ids.

    try this, if you change position of ranges you have to modify some lines

    Hello Patel
    Although the thread is marked as solved but i have a question from you, which is that if i want to change the column in Sheet 1 in this case i want to change the column C to F, D to P and E to S then where should i make changes and other question is that in Sheet 2 if Column C is changed to G and D is changed to K and E is changed to M then where should i make the changes.
