New to VBA, data entry to master page which is then copied to 1 of 5 subpages conditional

    Hi,

I have a workbook containing flammability test data. the master worksheet is a log of all tests done, but the subsheets are sheets detailing and averaging each test, and there are 10 types of tests.

Not every entry on the master sheet requires all five tests, so to define what requires what, there are 10 columns on the master sheet, one for each test category. the identifier to mark an entry to have a particular test, is an "*" in the cell for the row of the entry and the column of the test type.

What I want is, for whenever an input is made into the master sheet, for the sheet to automatically copy data from 3 cells in that row and input them in to pre defined formatted tables in the required sheet for the tests that are needed for that entry (will probably require 10 different button macros because some of the tables are slightly different).

from then on, you just go to the required tab to look at the indepth test results, they are manually entered by hand from pdf. I have a few other formulas that extract that data into mean tables on each page. these can be seen completed in sheet F1.

I have no idea how to macro this atall. Would appreciate all the help you guys can give. Ill upload my test spread sheet below.

So, when you open the excel file, you will see 3 entries in the tests (master) sheet. I want to automatically have the "definition", "top layer" and "lab report" dropped into those areas in the tables of each sheet that entry has a "*" marked on it for.

    many many thanks guys.
