email selection not working

I have a file that I am creating that I need to email the selection as a form in the body of an email and it is crashing most of the time. Here is the code:

(Found one error but it still crashes, saying "Method 'Publish' of object 'PublishObject' Failed")

Anybody know what the issue is here? It works in my add-in but will not work in this small file that I am creating.

This works in my addin - why would it not work here? it is really confusing to me.
