For this specific request, is the degree sign always in the same place (as in the last letter of the string)? Does it vary in location?

before i use this code above the degree sign will be in 99% of the cases in the last place, afther i use this there''s a space and a | behind it.
those few exceptions could be dealth with by hand.
i do not know what you mean with string, i have seen it being used in codes but i dunnot understand what it does.

Try replacing your code with the following and let me know if it works.

    Re: Exclude degree sign

iam working on a diffrent pc with diffrent excel version now, but for me it changes everyting to ariel, where it should change everyting to aritec except for the degree sign (so ariel and aritec in 1 cell, i read somewhere it is possible) maby i didn''t explain well enough

edit: actually it worked, my excel version just doesn''t display it like it should, but if i click it it does say its in aritec, thanx!

    Re: Exclude degree sign

    Hoimae,

I understood your request, and the test I ran works for me. It changes the Cell to Aritec, except for the last value in the cell (which should be the degree sign) then follows up with a " |"

If it doesn't work, can you post a sample of your workbook so that we can dissect the problem?
