Simple Attendance using excel

Hi Guys,

I need your expertise/advice on simple swiping system using excel as attached file.
How to?
1. The data will capture from magnetic card reader into textbox1.
2. The textbox2 will check if the data exist from "Data Sheet". Then the name / employee number should appear in textbox2.
3. At the same time the data will capture at excel cell.
4. No duplicate.
5. If possible the dialog box will pop out to show on number of staff has been swiped. Any suggestion?

What are you trying to do? Is this an employeed attendance system? It doesn't seem very robust to me. Have you considered simply capturing the swipe details in a txt file and importing them later? Of course it depends on what you are trying to do.
