Autofilter for 3 criteria using wildcards

Been struggling with this for a bit. I can autofilter for 3 precise criteria. But when trying to do so for 3 criteria with wildcards the result is everything gets excluded. I can search for 2 criteria using autofilter with wildcards

This is the working code for 3 precise criteria autofilter

no you're not. you can't do what you want with an autofilter unless you create a new column with a formula in it to test for the three matches and then filter that column. if not you would need an advanced filter
